A technical note about this image -- the ceiling is an illusion. I could not get the lighting to work properly with an actual ceiling, so I just placed a graduated greytone in the background, and "hung" the glowing panels in "mid-air". (One of the greatest strides forward in my modeling came when I realized it was not necessary to literalize everything!)
